Easy Peesey, Valentineezy!
For the first time in…who knows how long…I am prepping for a holiday BEFORE the week of the holiday. The design for these hearty heart clusters in a bundle from Creative Fabrica and is, in my opinion, a fun design to make some festive stickers.
These hearty heart clusters aren’t anything too spectacular or fascinating nor are they anything comparable to previous heart composites, but I feel like the simplicity is nice for a project every so often. Sometimes the simplest things can end up being one of the best.
Or I’m exaggerating to make myself feel better about doing an easy first project for Valentine’s Day. LMAO
Have You Met Ted?
Ok, so I’m not actually calling it Ted, but I have a new mount for my phone for filming. This Arkon mount is the absolute dream for filming from straight above a work space.
I will be talking more about this crowning jewel of new filming equipment in a future posts. I only wanted to touch briefly on it at this moment because it’s just that good. It deserves multiple talking points. The multiple adjustment points alone make for a versatile filming mount worth its price. I admit that the cost was for a long time a deterrent for me. Unless you’re serious about filming in an above head model or doing frequent livestreams, this mount could be considered excessive.
The best feature for me is that even though it is portable, it is sturdy. I do not have to fear that this mount will tilt or fall at any point during filming. The base has weight to keep it upright and steady, but is still small enough that it doesn’t not encumber a shot. In a future post, I’ll share more about how I use it for my filming and other uses that, while not particularly useful to me at the moment, are awesome features that will definitely come in handy in the future when I become more versed in maintaining so many platforms simultaneously.
