I Want to Make a Clever Cher Connection

…but just can’t make it work. Each time I worked on this project, including editing video for IG and YouTube, I kept getting Cher’s song Believe stuck in my head.

Do you believe in life after love?

But it in no way cleverly connects to this project asking if you believe in unicorns. So I’ll leave the cleverness to others better suited than myself.

More New Product

So this htv is another new product from Teckwrap Craft…an opal htv. I am in love with their white opal adhesive vinyl and was beyond excited to see it offered as an htv now. This material, though, looks like more practice will be necessary for better results.

It’s more noticeable at some angles than others. I believe I may have applied heat for too long, too high, or a combination of both. I will certainly have to play around with heat press settings and try again. I’m very happy that the color shift is exactly like the adhesive version, but am a bit disappointed about not knowing yet what the correct setting is for a clean application.

This is Why We Practice

Usually when playing with new htvs, I like to practice on dish towels from IKEA. These towels are lint free and only $0.79 each. When practicing, I will sometimes reuse a towel for practice multiple times. My husband laughs at me when I bring a new dish towel to the kitchen that has four or more random designs all over it.

Since there were application issues, this vinyl will be used again for practice until I can pin down the proper settings. Don’t be surprised to see this vinyl again in the next post. Perhaps I will have better luck? We shall see.
