Bringing color to the world, one llama at a time!
We all know by now that I have a weakness for weeding mandala/zentangle designs as well as anything rainbow/holographic. It just so happens, my niece also loves llamas, so this rainbow llama decal was the perfect marriage of all loves. This rainbow llama was a very straightforward design and a simple layer project. Who can say no to a rainbow llama? Not me!
Previous break
Some may notice that a little over a week has past since my last blog update and I apologize for the lack of blog content. I was ahead in my work and had content scheduled in advance, but sometimes life catches up and takes its toll. It did for me and I ran out of time to create YouTube and blog content. I did *kind of* keep up with content on schedule over on Instagram, but it was only picture content from small projects I had already had going. Today, I am back on track for my regular three posts per week.
It’s my goal to get ahead in my work over the next week to ensure content posts regularly for everyone during the week of Thanksgiving since I will be traveling to visit with family. Fingers crossed! I really do not want to let anyone down.
New light pad, who dis?
I received a nice little surprise recently from my mom…a new light pad! A link for it is provided above in the products used section for your convenience. This light pad is divine! It is super light weight and super thin. It is not battery powered, so it still needs to be plugged in to use it, but it’s usb instead of wall outlet, so I can conveniently plug it in to a battery pack on my desk instead of having to crawl under the desk to get to the wall outlet.
Another added bonus that I didn’t notice until editing the video content is the white balance. AS you may remember from previous layering videos, my light table creates an odd white balance issue with the camera, which results in a weird scrolling stripe when the light table is on. This light pad does not create the same issue! It was a very pleasant surprise to realize during video editing. Not I don’t need to worry about trying to circumvent the issue in the future.
Since this light pad is A4 size (12 inches wide and 9 inches tall in lighted surface area), I will continue using the larger light table for larger layering projects. Perhaps one day soon I will get a second light pad with more lighted surface space.
